At the PT Expo China 2020 held from October 14 to 16 in Beijing, Hengtong Optic-Electric (HTGD) impressed visitors with its solutions and application achievements in 6 areas: Terahertz, 5G&Data Center, Telecommunication Service, Smart Cities, Smart Oceans and Smart Energy.

PT Expo China is the ICT ecosystem's leading event in China. Hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, the event, presented in 1990 for the first time, is committed to building up a dynamic platform for the ICT ecosystem, providing an international platform and networking opportunities in the aspects of ICT policies, R&D, applications, market trends, and investment. It attempts to connect and satisfy all of players in the ICT ecosystem, regarded as an inspiring business hub in China and across the globe.

At the Expo, HTGD signed 2 strategic cooperation agreements on green digital center and 5G + Industrial Internet with the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of Tsinghua University’s School of Aerospace Engineering and China Mobile’s Suzhou Branch respectively.

On the sideline of the Expo, HTGD, as invited, also addressed 3 forums, namely the China Information and Communication Industry Development Summit 2020, the China Light Summit & 2020 China Optical Communication Industry Development Conference, and the 5G Innovation Development Forum of ICT China High Level Forum.

At its 2020 Conference for New Technologies, HTGD released its 4 latest achievements, namely Terahertz Communication and Security Check Products, Green, Flexible and Smart Data Center Solutions, Industrial Internet Innovation Platform and Multiple-Pair Large-Capacity Submarine Cable Solutions.

HTGD was also awarded 6 prizes in recognition of its contribution in various fields such as 5G infrastructure, optical communication, Terahertz pandemic-prevention system, 5G fronthaul WDM system solution, micro-module data room and 5G+Smart Industrial Park.
